Rachel M. Roberson
Rachel Roberson practices in commercial and healthcare litigation. Rachel approaches the law through detailed analysis, thoughtful research, and deep respect for public policy. With a clinical background, Rachel regularly counsels business entities in the healthcare industries, specifically in provider-managed care disputes. Prior to joining Riley Warnock & Jacobson, PLC, she practiced general civil litigation and represented a broad range of clients' interests, including subrogation rights, trusts and estates matters, general corporate defense, and employment discrimination. As a West Tennessee native, Rachel graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor's degree of science with a molecular biology and biochemistry concentration. Prior to law school, Rachel managed regulatory affairs, reviewed data analytics, and drafted journal manuscripts for clinical studies at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute and Sarah Cannon Research Development Innovations. Rachel earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Belmont University College of Law, where she was selected to compete at the L. Edward Bryant, Jr. National Health Law Transactional Moot Court Competition. At Belmont Law, she obtained the Health Law Certificate and was the Managing Editor of the Belmont Health Law Journal. She received Best Performance Awards in Legal Information and Communications I and Employment Discrimination. Rachel also completed several externships with the 21st Judicial District of Tennessee and the Middle District Court of Tennessee. |
